CTM15 (SC) dn 35 on SH CTM18 (SC) dn 60 on FC HS 70cm ECTN on both those layers Noted SH in sheltered polar terrain this morning, but was gone this afternoon. Fairly unsupported snowpack except in exposed terrain due to wind compaction. One whumph experienced in an isolated terrain feature. Easy hand shear on basal facet layer. No new avalanches observed in the area. Given the amount of slope tests by sledders and general snowpack obs throughout the day, we felt that the weak layers could potentially propagate and avalanche in the right/wrong spot in the terrain today.
