By the afternoon (2:30pm) the winds had died down and little snow was being moved about. The temps were LOW all day above 10,000. Only a trace of new snow around the divide today.
Snowpack
Where wind could reach it, there could be something very hard, or nothing at all. In sheltered areas, thick wind-deposited snow has blanketed the weakening layers below. Although seemingly stable to ski, and in tests, the structure inspires no confidence.
