Overcast, cold and gusty winds through tour. Clouds darkening through the morning.

Snowpack

Upper 60cm of snowpack has weakened significantly through the last weeks cold weather. The stout mfc formed around Feb 10 has broken and is bordered by facets. Jan surface hoar layer is reactive (stubborn) in CT snowpit tests and non-reactive in ECT. Lower Big Slide is blown out to mfc from swirling winds. The upper path holds ~30cm of loose snow.
