Weather

Partly to mostly cloudy skies from early to mid day. Cold temperatures and north wind very chilly near and above treeline.

Snowpack

Around 8- 12 inches of new snow from the past few days was cold in the morning hours on northerly aspects. Very dirty snow layers near the bottom on this interface bonded well where we ski tested slopes (S, SW, N). Near and below treeline slopes became moist mid day. Old melt freeze crusts remained cold and solid on south aspects above treeline, and northerly aspects near and below treeline.
