Snowpack
Height of snow 50-120cm. Roughly 40-50cm of settled storm snow in the snowpack since 1/30. Shaded, sheltered slopes were generally weak w/ well developed facets. Recent slabs were softer here less and supportive to sleds, not at all on foot. These slopes produce widespread collapsing and cracking. More open wind exposed slopes had much stiffer slabs on the surface. No cracking or collapsing observed on these slopes. Boot pen here was 30cm.
