Snowpack
Surface Hoar was found on some slopes mostly above 10,500ft on MFcr on the solar aspects and on NSF or powder on the shady aspects. The afternoon snow showers started with grapple and no wind, so the SH looked like it was being preserved as we headed back home. In rock, sisters, paper, the rock always smashes the paper. So in the case of grapple verses surface hoar, does the grapple smash the hoars? Do two negatives make a positive? Nope, it looked like the surface hoar was winning the battle and surviving.
