Weather

light wind with periodic stronger gusts, but mainly confined to ridgelines. Warm, and plenty of sun.

Snowpack

Avg HS around 165cm. Warm temps and sun promoted rapid settlement of recent storm snow in the last 48 hours. 3 noticeable weak layers: 1) down about 40cm underneath storm snow from large Feb snow, now a 1F slab. 2)pronounced layer of 2mm facets about 1m down in location where crust used to be. No longer a crust there, just large facets. Most worrisome PWL with P hard slab on tip. 3) Large (2-3mm) but round and bonding depth hoar.
