Snowpack
With the exception of the small slide mentioned below, we've seen no recent activity. The structure described in Spencer's report is very similar to what we're seeing on the pass. Likewise, test are not producing much. Besides the Dec and Jan rain layers, we're now watching the near surface faceting. On some N aspects we're seeing 10+cm of small facets. This has been adding to the "variable" nature of our pack up here. If we ever get any appreciable snow we'll see how it plays with this stuff.
Avalanche
Real small pocket on N aspect around 9300'. 3-4m wide by 10m (maybe). 30-40 cm crown. Ran on Nov Rain. ASu
