Cold day, single digits to teens. Clear skies. Moderate west winds.
Snowpack
Dug on a N aspect near treeline, HS140cm. ECTP23 on nsf @ 70cm. 4 finger slab of decomposing grains. Depth hoar at ground didn't fail during ECT, but propagated when additional loading was continued. Numerous collapses in meadows below treeline. S aspects NTL, HS~60cm. New snow well bonded to old snow. Wind effected slabs were generally well bonded.
Avalanche
Observed numerous avalanches that appeared to be from during the last storm event. One more recent small Wind Slab avalanche.
