Cloudy sky's and light snowfall in the AM. Sky's cleared in late afternoon. Winds backed off in the afternoon. There was a coat of rime observed on rope-lines at high elevations.
Snowpack
New snow has not bonded well to the existing bed surface. Soft Wind Slab avalanches were easily triggered in exposed areas.
Avalanche
SS-AS-R1-D1-O. Skier not caught or injured. Avalanche was triggered above a rock band. The snow falling off the rock only triggered a sluff below.
