Weather

Increasing clouds, breezy on ridgetops, intermittent sunshine, temps kept relatively cool, below forecast, because of cloud cover and winds.

Snowpack

Variable, thin windslabs on surface. Winter-like characteristics on northerly aspects. Snowpack transitioning between winer and spring on southerly aspects. Southerly aspects not yet setup, w/breakable sun and wind crusts on surface. Deep slab instabilities still exist, but strong bridging in upper snowpack, w/only approx. 1' ski and boot penetration at deepest point. Southerly and westerly aspects starting to see lots of roller balls (from yesterday's warm temps), and some small (R0.5/D1) wet, loose slides, some skier-triggered. Good skiing still on northerly aspects and some supportive corn snow down lower.
