Weather
At 2pm: Good visibility, light winds out of the west, 17F, overcast.
Snowpack
Shallow, punchy, stumpy. Total snow depths ranging from ~30cm at the parking lot to 75cm at the bench (treeline) and much deeper along drifted sections. Lots of evidence of recent wind transport, with portions of the face being stripped bare leaving behind a mix of deep slabs and cross-loaded features. A quick hasty pit at treeline revealed a weak snow structure, clear interfaces, and easy shears in the mid and lower pack. Was able to trigger a small slab on a steep roll below treeline, and saw what looked like a pretty good sized natural on the Nokhu/No Name ridge.
