Snowpack
The snowpack is showing the effects of our long stretch of dry and, at times windy weather. It has been quite a while since we have received significant snowfall (one week since our last small storm and almost 3 weeks since our last significant storm). Overall the snowpack is very weak, though lacks tension/reactivity due to no recent significant loading. (The exception to this is in the alpine, where recent wind loaded some southerly terrain features.) Our current snowpack will not take kindly to future loading events, particularly below treeline.
