Weather

Overcast skies and scattered very light snow showers in the morning. A brief period of more intense snowfall and strong winds in the early afternoon. Clearing skies before sundown. Less than 1" new snow.

Snowpack

No signs of instability or recent avalanche activity. Cohesionless surface layer responsible for some isolated triggered and natural harmless sluffing on N aspects below TL.

Avalanche

Last observed avalanche activity was over two weeks ago. Observed bc hazard has reduced to Low over the last week or so at this end of the SSJ.
