Weather

Intermittent heavy snow, periods of S5-S10. Obscured skies all day, gusty at times from S. Snow accumulation far exceeded forecasts.

Snowpack

Mostly refrozen underneath new snow except directly around trees. 10"+ accumulation by 1700 on top of Carbon Mountain. Minor cracking in new snow, mostly loose. Ski cuts on Oh Boy did not produce slab release, only sluffs, but we stayed off steep slopes and rollovers.
