Weather
Overcast, cold with intermittent snow showers.
Snowpack
Snow surface has changed dramatically the last two days. Wind blown powder and breakable crust, wind transport evident. Appear to have caused a collapse on a steep north facing slope at ~11,300 ft.
Avalanche
Avalanche ran on a steep slope at ~11,300 into Upper Mud Gulch. Unable to determine the dimensions, wind appeared to have filed the slope in. Debris visible at the bottom of the slope. Appears to have ran in the last 24-36 hours. CAIC note: This slope appears to have collapsed and cracked but not slid. 1-2 people possibly on slope at time. Probably Dec. 3.
