Snowpack
Total mixed bag of surface conditions. Dug on an east aspect just below ridgeline and didn't find anything concerning in the top meter. However, there was a layer of small facets sitting underneath a wind-packed slab about 3-6 inches down. This layer was cracking under skis and looked like it could cause trouble if loaded. On a north aspect, lower - but still above treelin, we saw propagation mid-pack and on the depth hoar in an ECT. Snow surface got wet down ~4 inches on SE slopes by the time we left around 2pm.
