Weather

6-9" of new snow from road to summit of Marble Peak. Snowing lightly to moderately all morning. 2" new on truck on return.

Snowpack

New snow highly reactive with lots of shooting cracks. Snow not bonding well to dusty crust layer.

Avalanche

Got the Fridge shots to avalanche. 3 slides. 8-10" crowns. Skied the bowl and the center of it ripped off to skier's right. Narrow slide; 100 ft wide at most. sluff like.
