Weather
Calm winds and reasonably cold temps. Clouds were filtering in and out throughout the day
Snowpack
Below treeline, 8-12" of new snow from the last three days capped facets and depth hoar near the ground. Near treeline wind-blown snow was evident, but still very soft. HST from the last 3 days ranged from 10-15". Cracking and collapses were constant NTL. General snowpack is soft snow over weak snow. NTL hasty pit: CT1, ECT10 both down 45cm @ new snow/old snow interface.
Avalanche
Saw evidence of an older avalanche across the valley. Likely failed during rapid loading event on Saturday.
