Starting at Hilda creek parking, we ascended the valley on a supportive crust through the forest. Above tree line below Destiny ridge, the crust continued to be supportive. We gained the toe of Boundary Glacier where coverage on the glacier varied from 120-250m. We saw evidence of recent small dry loose on steep N aspect. On the southern side, we saw a few old sz 2 wet loose debris on steep solar slopes of Hilda. Also, visible westerly ridge top wind transport above 3000m. We were glad to have started early and finished at noon. *northern aspect of Boundary glacier would have been good skiing as lighter snow*
