Sporty day out at Tryst Chutes. All previous tracks in the Chutes were still visible with little wind drifting evident and trace new snow. Pockets of good snow were found between the chutes, and no whumps or cracks were present in untracked areas at or below treeline. Dug a pit to find a decomposed pencil crust ~30cmbs, and basal facets. No results on the CT. Evidence of wind loading was present on NE aspects in the alpine. The ski out down from the lake is marginal in the extreme with abundant knee high trees and rocks lurking.
