Took the skis up to the Hankin hut and lucked out on visibility! We skied a short run on an east aspect of morning bowl and found great turns! South aspects at tree line and above have a crust at surface, but we didn't find it on other aspects or elevations. Variable moderate winds at tree line were moving snow into lee features. Predominantly moderate westerly winds at ridgetop were moving snow onto east aspects in the alpine. We did not see any evidence of recent avalanche activity in the bowls above the cabin.
