Travel was easy through the treeline, albeit on a very well set uptrack. No whumpfing observed on breaking new trail in the treeline and in the alpine. Ski conditions were pretty good on the way down, maybe 10-15cm of light dry snow which was on top of the very solid crust below. There was evidence of wet loose slides from rocky features with snow on top, and limited dry loose releases more recently. Some dry loose sloughing on the ski down but nothing problematic. Generally the conditions were better and more supportive than expected!
