Skied north aspects between 1500 m and 2300 m today. Snow flurries (only a couple cm of accumulation) and gusty winds. ~25 cm of soft snow on the early Feb crust below 2100 m, which fades out above. 30-40 cm storm snow on this interface at treeline. A couple very small slabs were ski cut in immediate lee if exposed ridge, approx 10-20 cm deep x 10 m wide, otherwise no signs of instability when skiing. No other recent avalanche activity observed. Some easy shears were observed in faceted snow directly under the early Feb crust at around 1800 m where the crust is 5 cm thick and barely supportive to skis. Good ski quality at all elevations, although you can still feel the crust a bit a lower elevations.
