Cold smoke day. 10cm new snow over last weeks previous deep powder. Snow has settled a bit making track setting much more doable. Decent visibility revealed no new avalanche activity. Suface sluffing in steep terrain was running fast and far. Too cold to dig but no signs of instability where we travelled. Still a bunch of alder to negotiate bellow 1300m.
