Low Elevation Settlement

Remote trigger on snowshoes from about 25m away - felt a large settlement and "whumpf" under foot and failure occurred across the slope on a steeper pitch just above an old road. Too much hangfire to assess the crystal type on the failure. The afternoon brought warmer temps around -2 and warmer when the sun was out, the snowpack was getting very heavy and moist just prior to the incident.
