2nd skier in group made their way down through open larch glades. Skier bumped into a larch and soft 'slab' released 2m above where skier had touched the larch. Avalanche did have a visible crown but behaved more like a loose dry. Did not investigate bed surface but suspect it was on FC 1mm (Jan 30th). Average HS in area was 100-130
