Extended Column Test result: ECTX no fracture observed. At treeline, no wind slab observed and none was observed while skiing at higher elevations. Based on wind slab problem noted in forecast, we stayed away from ridge lines and high alpine. Three separate hard layers (rain?) were noted at depth 50-70 cm. Layers were well bonded and unreactive under ECT conditions. ECT result on previous day at different location with similar elevation was also ECTX with similar hard layers, but a thin facet layer (<5cm) was observed a ground level. We detected no facet layer at the location of this report.
