Below Treeline Avalanches

This natural size 2 slab was observed below treeline in a steep and shallow snowpack feature in the Cameron Lake area that failed on deep weak layers earlier in the week. Similar avalanches were reported with skier traffic below treeline on Mt. Bertha on Thursday.
