Weather
It was snowing all day, we estimated around 4 inches of fresh up high. Wind was apparent out of the SW all day, but only gusted irregularly with wind speeds less than 15 mph (in the afternoon). We skied down low in the morning as visibility was lower then.
Snowpack
Estimating 24 inches of fresh. We did not encounter a consistent hard wind slab up high, but saw plenty of evidence of loading. Large cornices observed on the ridge. We kicked one off and it was ~200lbs, but did not trigger anything. Generally found nonreactive snow and heard no sirens of instability.
