Light dry snow falling at low moderate rate around 8:30pm Thursday. Single digits. No visible wind in the lower valley. Temps significantly dropping rapidly between dusk and evening.

Avalanche

Periodic thuds ( 10 minute intervals perhaps) and booming sounds originating from above regions and picks of the valley that shook house. Persisted throughout the evening and into the morning where intervals between thuds increased.
