S1 in the AM to S2 in the PM. Skin tracks were refilling.

Snowpack

Avg HS @ 8500ft was 1.5m. HN24 25cm. no collapsing, no cracking. Snow mostly seemed to be bonding well to underlying crusts on E and SE facing. No signs of instability other than the avalanche noted.

Avalanche

SS-ASc-R1-D1 on an E face around 10k ft. Intentional ski cut of 34deg start zone, wind affected area with small cornice formation.
