Weather

Broken skies in the morning cleared about by afternoon with only a few scattered clouds. It did not look like there was much wind transport from looking at surrounding ridgetops.

Snowpack

A few snowpits below treeline on southwest and westerly aspects showed a strong snowpack with no results in ECTs. There was a weakness 35cms from the surface that consistently failed in compression tests but fracture character was not impressive and there was no propagation on this layer in ECTs.
