Foggy with snow flurries and calm winds.
Snowpack
Lots of snow in the canyon. 18" on the stake at the tunnel, and this appears about average for coverage across the lower slopes. Plenty of snow for WL sluffs to the side of the road or onto the inside lane. Powerhouse looks to be holding around 3 feet in the start zone. Heavy and or sustained rain (1"+ of H20) could produce a slide here. Terrain roughness and a relatively low angle in the track as it approaches the highway should help arrest any slides that might occur during the storm. A full-depth 'wall-to-wall' slide would probably cross the upper deck, but with little layering in the snowpack, and basal weak layers likely absent, a climax avalanche seems unlikely at this point.
