Test profile near top of ridge b/w Current & 2nd Creek, NNE, 11,650', 20deg, HS 185, TSurf -15C, T20 -12C. Stratigraphy: 185-155 1F WS DF, 155-153 1F+ cr, 153-140 4F DF, 140-130 1F .5 RG well-bonded, 130-115 4F .5mm FCxr, 115-70 1+F .5 RC well-bonded, 70-0 DH 3-4mm. Spx tests: M-H results in recent storm slab just below thin crust (CT19/22 (SP, Q1) @ 153 DF), with moderate propagation (ECTN 22 (SP, Q1) @153 DF). Very stiff DPS seems to be bridging basal facets, although high spacial variability and very deep and weak basal layer advises extreme caution to avoid triggering an ax in the upper spx that may step down into deeper instability. Rode slopes <30deg, nice turns in creamy new/deposited snow, no visible signs of instability or recent ax activity.
