Snowpack
~30cm new snow @ 11k. It still hasn't been wind affected much at this elevation. Storm snow has settled significantly below TL. At and above TL, persistent windslabs are creating a hard, supportive base, although the consistency and reliability of this bridge is uncertain. Storm snow has sloughed off this windslab in much of the terrain over 40 degrees and on most aspects. South facing slopes have developed a 2-4cm melt/freeze crust in the last 48 hours. Not great skiing. Yesterday, instability was only observed in the storm snow on north and east aspects and consisted of small, fast running, loose/dry avalanches.
