Still in a southerly flow right now, but as the trough passes and flow switches to North we could see an uptick of snowfall north of Red Mtn Pass. NWS mentions a period of heavier snow possible in the Gorge, however not expecting a prolonged event. Currently in Silverton: Skies broken; HN24 - 2"; Winds - Calm; Temp 14F. Current on Passes: Molas 2”, Coal Bank 4”, Red Mtn Pass 1.5”, Gorge < 1” so far but light snow currently. Weather Stations: A few weather sites are not reporting this morning. Molas site below treeline showing Calm. Kendal and Putney both SE –SW/10-15 G 15-20. Temps teens. RH 92%.
