Snowpack

20cm of new snow at trailhead. 30cm new snow at 10,500' elevation about 1pm. Weather - overcast, mostly s1, but varied between s-1 to s2. Winds calm at trailhead, 10-15 mph from north at 10,500'. Very light snow transport. Temperature -6C. Snowpack averaged 160cm at 10,500' Ski pen about 30cm in new snow, supportable snow underneath. No collapsing. A couple of cracks, but very minimal. A couple of sluffs in the new snow with ski cuts. Basal facet layer noticeable with pole probes, but we never broke down into it with skis.
