Weather
Obscured skies w/ thin clouds becoming broken. Moderate NW valley winds. Moderate to strong SW winds @ ridgetop.
Snowpack
HST varied significantly w/ elevation. At 10,600ft HST was 35cm overnight. On NE aspects below treeline storm snow was well bonded to underlying crust. Ski cuts on slopes over 35° produced no results. Below 10,000ft storm snow was heavy and sticky, and underlying wet grains were not fully frozen. Recent drifts had formed below treeline in the valley, and moderate blowing snow could be seen at ridgetops.
