Thick settled storm snow slabs (4F) up to 18" deep over a mostly faceted underlying snowpack. Some terrain with more solar aspects had the new storm snow resting on a weak old MF crust with facets above and below. Snowsurface was moist by early afternoon any where that was getting any direct sunhit past about 10am. Evidence of recent natural storm snow slab avalanches (D1.5) on slopes that previously slid in the beginning of Feb. Wet, loose pinwheels and pillow drops on E/SE aspects witnessed by mid-afternoon. No instabilities seen, slopes skied up to 35*.
