Weather

WEATHER: Warm and moist air with low hanging clouds around 10,500ft. Overcast throughout the day. Light snow with little additional accumulation.

SNOWPACK/AVALANCHE OBS: Found buried SH on many slopes and even preserved on a tree branch! Still, it was hard to establish a trend of which slopes had preserved SH. Recent storm snow accumulations were 15-20cm. Around 10,000ft and lower the snowpack was still punchy and ski pen was inconsistent. The top of right chute (north facing) had some old but surprisingly wide propagating persistent slabs through gladed trees. Probably failed at the very end of the Solstice Storm or maybe around Christmas, unless they were skier triggered at a little later
