Weather

Drifting snow observed near ridgeline and blowing downslope in open area nearly 700' below ridgeline. Consistent HS of ~125 on N-E slopes ~10500 ft.

Snowpack

Snow surface on slopes north of east still dry. Moist or crusted on sunnier slopes. Several buried surface hoar. near surface facet layers in top~ 25 cm of snowpack, w soft (F+) snow between.Snowpack below progressively harder until depth hoar above ground. 12/13 pwl very difficult to distinguish.

Avalanche

Several crowns - slightly drifted in visible in Porchester, ToGnar bowls on E/ NE facing slopes. Ran from ridgelines/ cornices. Debris ran far, but suspect crowns were shallow and slides didn't involve that much snow. Too far away to fill in details meaningfully.
