Avalanche

I saw three backcountry boarders plus one dog sitting on the side of the westbound lane, hitchhiking...seemed like typical backcountry travelers hitching back up to summit of Berthoud. When I stopped and looked left, I saw the debris field and assumed they had triggered the slide. When asked, they confirmed. They reported no injuries. I am not sure how they triggered the slide.
