Weather

Clear skies at 9 AM. Clouds increasing through the day. Wind was calm, no blowing snow. Temp from Hoosier Pass SNOTEL. Warmed to 21 degrees by the time I left at 2 PM.

Snowpack

Overall the snowpack is much thinner than areas to the north. Average snow depth in non wind-affected areas was a little less than 3 ft. Many aspects and elevations have seen some strong winds from different directions and are very thin. Deep wind-loaded areas are scattered across the landscape and there are few if any slopes that have a consistent slab.
