Temperatures in mid 20s with high winds. Wind gusts in excess of 40 mph, especially above tree line.
Snowpack
Variable snowpack. Storm slab of 4" - 6" atop thin layer of grouped. Areas of heavily wind loaded snow and cross loading due to wind transfer.
Avalanche
Skier triggered slide on east facing aspect of X Chute in Current Creek Drainage. 6" crown that propagated 50' across face and ran 100 yards.
