Snowpack

Overall the snowpack is very settled and unreactive. It has been roughly 4 weeks since our last major loading event, with a prolonged period of warm days and solid overnight freezes. The snowpack has moved towards a more spring-like regime on sunny slopes (moving towards isothermal, even above treeline). The main issue with incoming storms is how well the new snow will bond to the old snow surface. Deeper instabilities have become less of a problem over the past weeks.
