Weather

Beautiful sunny day below treeline. Intermittent strong west winds kept the temperature down above treeline. Not a cloud in the sky.

Snowpack

6-8" of new snow from this last storm. Lots of wind affect. New snow well bonded to old snow surface. Didn't get warm enough to make Loose Wet an issue in the afternoon.

Avalanche

I saw four very small Wind Slab avalanches on east facing slopes just below ridgelines. They appear to have broken during the storm (3/15-16)
