Snowpack
Heavily wind affected on almost all aspects. Zero instability, but definitely punching through wind board in the skin track on the way up down to the old hard layer (north and west-facing aspects). Skied a protected north-facing couloir that was wind-hammered solid. Not punchy at all. Once I exited the shade into the sun, the east-facing hot pow was about 8-10" sitting on an older sun crust. Still no instability. Elevation ranged from 10,000'-12,000'. East faces held the best snow, mostly due to sun warming. Anything near/above treeline on other aspects is variable at best.
Avalanche
Some old sluffing was visible, perhaps during the last storm cycle, but nothing today. Saw a bit of roller ball activity, likely from Weds. One cornice fall on a NE facing couloir at about 12,500' that rolled into the basin. Nothing remarkable.
