Weather

Sunny and clear in tve morning to about 10 am, fog/clouds to about noon, clear weather between noon and 2pm, snow after 2.30pm. Basin likely received 3-4 inches overnight.

Snowpack

Multiple wet slides (frozen debris) originated from the rocks. Top layer slid on the previous hard layer. Some slides went for hundreds of feet. Consolidated spring-like snowpack on southern aspects. Styrofoam snow with top windslab layer on northern aspect. Heavy windloading.

Avalanche

Evidence of multiple wet slides (frozen debris) originated from the rocks throughout the Kilpacker basin (Southern aspect).
