Weather

Gorgeous day. Very warm below TL and warm with almost no wind ATL.

Snowpack

No signs of instability and no wet avalanche, loose or slab, activity noted in the area. Near treeline on East mid-day was warm and the surface was softening but still very supportable, boot pen 1-2". Conditions remained similar into early afternoon and made for pretty good skinning. ATL in Oatmeal Bowl/No-Name snow was still very supportable and softening on South. Higher elevations with early sunhit had moderate boot penetration around 3PM. North aspects ATL were cold and icy with mostly crappy skiing, even late in the afternoon. Warm temperatures did not have as strong of an effect as expected today.
